Choate Sniper Stock For Savage Long Action Rifles

The Ultimate Sniper Stock features a completely adjustable cheekpiece and buttpad for a perfect fit. A rear elevation screw, coupled with an angled forend, provides precise elevation adjustments. Includes flush mounted sling swivel studs on the left and right, front and rear.

The aluminum bedding block free-floats up to a 1-1/4" bull barrel while the 2-1/2" wide forearm provides a steady shot. Length of pull is 13-1/4" and can be adjusted in 3/4", 1/2" or 1/4" increments using spacers (sold separately).

The bottom of the stock is heavily serrated behind pistol grip and has a fine elevation adjustment knob that is removable.

An angled forend makes bi-pod legs less likely to snag when folded. Durable polymer construction with a lifetime guarantee.

Notes:

Stock will not fit new Savage rifles with center feed magazines. Stock will only fit rifles that have staggered feed magazines where the magazine portion attaches directly to the action. If the magazine body is held in place by the stock, then this stock will not fit.

Rifles in 223 Remington and 204 Ruger should be checked to be sure that the magazine portion attaches to the action, since these calibers may have been produced in the new style but with staggered feed magazines.

This high performance stock was designed by Major John Plaster (US Army, Retired). He is considered by many to be one of the world's top authorities on long range, highly accurate shooting.

  • Will accept Accutrigger.
  • Will not fit detachable mag model.
  • Actual color is olive drab green.

CHECK THIS BEFORE ORDERING: This stock will not fit the new Savage Rifles with bolt release in the trigger guard!åÊ

Will not fit Savage rifles that have the internal magazine separate from the receiver. These are centerfeed models. This stock will fit only stagger-feed models. Will not fit Savage MODEL LRPV 3 bolt action.

There will be an 3/16 gap under the safety on all the Savage Varmint, Tactical and Sniper stocks. The action should only touch on the V of the bedding block and back of the recoil lug. The gap at the back is normal for Savage actions when installed

Here are some dimensions that might help you identify your receiver length. These are the distances between the two receiver screws:

Savage short action 4.275 / long action 5.062
